An in-house brokerage, construction management, and property management team enables SDG to facilitate a below market cost structure. Time and time again, Serrano Development Group has provided a proven track record of identifying crucial acquisition opportunities for its investors and clients. The firm aims to continue its focus on acquiring property for development while maintaining and managing its current assets. Project Approvals Serrano Development Group stresses the importance of public/private partnerships while working closely with local communities to build sustainable and revitalizing projects that fit within their environment. We believe soliciting all stakeholders with early and earnest outreach is the best way to secure project approvals. Local outreach and an informative narrative give each project a reason for approval that benefits the end user. Our successful entitlement work ranges from subdivision approvals in Palm Desert for tract housing to a General Plan Amendment in Santa Rosa, with a robust resume of subdivisions for multifamily housing in Los Angeles. Design Coordination Throughout each stage of design, SDG is involved with everything from the first unit layout to the issuance of the building permit. Following our detailed and extensive Due Diligence, Serrano Development Group hires and oversees a hand selected design team that work closely with one-another to complete a drawing package ready for construction. The firms close relationship with the General Contractor and other seasoned subcontractors enables SDG to refine an aesthetically pleasing design in the most cost effective way possible that in turn benefits the overall performance and financial return of the asset. Construction Management Serrano Development Group stresses the importance of construction and an open relationship with the general contractor to complete a project as efficiently as possible. Beginning with the selection and retention of a project design team, Serrano Development Group will shepherd a project through the design process, construction and turnover. SDG has accumulated a deep pool of consultants, vendors and contractors with whom we have long term relationships. The result of this track record of performance is the ability to quickly assemble a seasoned project team and implement a wide variety of project types on time and on budget.
