August 26, 2025 – City Council Unanimously Approves Hartwell in Old Town Newhall

Serrano Development Group is pleased to announce that the City Council has unanimously approved Hartwell, a new 98-unit mixed-use development located in the heart of Old Town Newhall.

This project marks Serrano’s second venture along Main Street, following the success of the award-winning Newhall Crossings development. Hartwell continues the company’s commitment to thoughtfully designed, community-focused urban projects that enhance and elevate historic districts.

Hartwell is slated to break ground in Q2 2026, with completion and market delivery expected in Q2 2028.

August 15, 2025 – Groundbreaking at Serrano Henderson 751 Industrial Center

Serrano Development Group is proud to announce the official groundbreaking of Serrano Henderson 751 Industrial Center, marking the company’s second development project in the Las Vegas area in recent years.

Located in Henderson, Nevada, this premier industrial facility will span approximately 95,000 square feet, strategically positioned near the intersection of Interstates 215 and 515. The site offers exceptional access to major freeways, providing a key logistical advantage for future tenants.

November 2, 2023 – Henderson 515 Logistics Center has officially broken ground! This project marks the first development project in Las Vegas for Serrano Development Group in fifteen years.  Henderson 515 Logistics Center is an approximately 110,000 square foot industrial building in Henderson, Nevada.  The site is situated in a prime location adjacent Interstate 515 offering convenient access to the freeway.

October 26, 2023 – The Edgeway officially opened its doors to the public with a ribbon cutting ceremony.  City of Bellflower officials and community stakeholders attended the event, marking the culmination of this transformative mixed-use project located in Downtown Bellflower.  The Edgeway boasts 91 luxury apartment units and approximately 15,000 square feet for retail.

June 30, 2022 – The Orchard officially opened its doors to the public with a ribbon cutting ceremony.  City of Azusa and County of Los Angeles officials attended the event, marking the culmination of this transformative mixed use project located in Downtown Azusa.  The Orchard boasts 163 luxury apartment units and approximately 33,000 square feet for retail.

February 23, 2022 – Lumia has officially broken ground! The groundbreaking ceremony was successfully held with attendance from City Council and Staff, Elected Officials and Representatives, and design team members. This project marks the second major investment by Serrano Development Group in the City of Azusa.  Lumia is a mixed-use multifamily development located in the Downtown Azusa Transit Oriented District and consists of 127 apartments and approximately 12,000 square feet of ground floor commercial/retail space. The site is situated in a prime location adjacent to Downtown Azusa’s Metro L-Line Station offering convenient access to public transportation. This will be a cornerstone project of Azusa’s downtown redevelopment and vital for the economic growth of the community.

December 15, 2021 – A formal Groundbreaking Ceremony took place and it was a success. The Mayor of Bellflower, City officials, lenders, staff and investors were among those present for the ceremony.  Edgeway is a mixed use project consisting of 91 luxury apartment units and approximately 15,000 square feet of premier retail space.  It sits across the street from the future Downtown Bellflower MTA station and in the heart of the Downtown Bellflower commercial district.

June 25, 2020 – Located on the corner of Lyons and Railroad Avenue in the heart of Santa Clarita’s Arts and Entertainment District, Laemmle Theaters is now complete!  As the first arthouse theater in the Santa Clarita Valley, movie-goers will soon be able to enjoy artistic, groundbreaking and innovative films in a brand new, state of the art, 7-screen movie theatre.

March 19, 2020 – Serrano Development Group recently received the Certificate of Occupancy for the Newhall Crossings Mixed Use project.  Situated on Main Street in the heart of Old Town Newhall in Santa Clarita, Newhall Crossings features 47 apartments with spacious floor plans and top-of-the-line finishes. Residents can enjoy amenities that include a fully-equipped fitness center, entertainment lounge room, and business center. The 13 commercial spaces on the ground level will soon be home to several restaurants, fitness and dance studios, a pub and a café.

June 25, 2019 – Serrano Development Group breaks ground today on the Geneva @ Pacific project, an 18-unit project located in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles.
